Cheapest flights to Kos - Greece

Whatever you want from your Greek island holiday, you're bound to find it in Kos - it's one of those islands that has it all!

This pretty Greek island sits just below Turkey - in fact, you can even take a ferry from Kos to Bodrum for the ultimate two in one holiday! The resorts vary from party towns, to historical hotspots, with plenty of stunning scenery in-between. You'll have no problems putting together a full itinerary for a holiday to Kos, with the attractions and resorts all within easy reach of one another.

Those who have all night parties high on their holiday agenda will find Kardamena to be a one stop party shop, with over 100 bars, pubs and clubs! Bar Street is the heart of the action here, with the bustling town square also being a hotspot. Despite the adults-only nightlife, Kardamena is also pretty family-friendly, with watersports, boat tours and a brilliant wide sandy beach.

However, if you're travelling with the kids or as a family, you might want somewhere a little less lively. In that case, Psalidi is one of the island's unsung heroes. The long stretch of shingle shelves gently into shallow waters - ideal for paddling or bobbing about on that lilo! There are also a handful of restaurants and bars that will keep you sustained. You can't fail to return from a holiday to Psalidi completely relaxed and chilled out.

For a change of pace, Psalidi is a mere 10 minute drive from Kos Town, the island's historic capital. A complete mix of old and new, Kos Town is an exciting place to visit. Take a stroll along the wide promenade by the harbour, maybe stopping for a fresh fish lunch as you go, or relax on the resort's small beach, which comes complete with its very own medieval castle.

Away from the water Kos Town is rich in cultural attractions, including a Roman amphitheatre, market place and gymnasium. Or, head up into the mountains to explore the natural side of Kos - the mountain village of Zia boasts beautiful views across to Turkey, whereas water from the natural springs of Pyli is said to give you eternal youth, so don't forget that water bottle!
